Machine Tool & Welding Ed. Tech
Jim Wiggin was hired as the Assistant Instructor in the Machine Tool & Welding program. Jim spent his career working at Proctor & Gamble in Auburn and as the metal ware division manager at CM Almy in Pittsfield. Jim finds machining exciting and hopes to pass that on to the students. He points out that everything you own, at one point, a machinist probably made as a prototype. In his spare time, Jim is working in his home machine shop restoring antique tractors and motorcycles. Jim lives in Benton with his wife, Robin. He raised three children and has 4 grandchildren.
