CATC Announcement regarding Maranacook High School Positive COVID-19 Test (October 2, 2020)
Friday, October 2nd
RSU 38 has had a positive case for COVID-19 with an individual from Maranacook High School. Maranacook High School is a part of RSU 38 and sends students to CATC. Maranacook High School will be going to remote learning beginning Monday, October 5th through Friday, October 9th. Students will return to school at the high school and at CATC on Tuesday, October 13.
At this time, CATC will remain open to all students (except for students from Maranacook) unless CDC contact tracing or positive case developments determine a different course of action. Students from Maranacook will be provided with alternate learning materials to the extent that is practical. Maranacook students will return on Thursday, October 13.
We have have been and will remain in close contact with school administrators from RSU 38 as the situation changes.
CATC has been tracking and monitoring student absences very closely. High school nurses and secretaries have been excellent communicators in helping us with this effort. Please remember that if you feel unwell that you stay home. Parents must contact both the high school and CATC main offices to report any student absence. This is a standard procedure but also extremely important in our efforts to keep us all safe during these challenging times. Together we can remain healthy.
