Computer Animation & Web Design
Video & Television Production
Computer Animation consists of students improving their skills building interactive 2-D animations for Internet web pages, and also creating a basic game or cartoon animation; this does not require any artistic ability however a little creativity is needed.
Web Design students will learn the basics of web page layouts with an emphasis on design by creating a variety of web pages integrating images, animation and video with the ultimate goal of developing a web site.
Video Production students will learn the basics of camera operation, lighting, editing and audio manipulation creating in class commercials, documentaries, music videos, promotional videos, and short films.
Television Production students will learn to produce, direct, act, and operate all equipment related to television production and have the opportunity to produce a 30 minute show.
Second year students will advance their media skills through the production of live work, and assigned personal projects.
