Installation of wind turbines at CATC

In April of 2009 the Capital Area Technical Center began a community service initiative in collaboration with the Chelsea Montessori School. Both schools were awarded grant monies to purchase, install, and collect data from four wind turbines. A 33 foot turbine and a 50 foot turbine were installed at each school site by a local expert and CATC Plumbing and Heating students.
